About the Role
A material handler is responsible for moving, storing, and managing materials within our warehouse or production facility. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
· Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles.
· Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory management systems.
· Inspect materials for damage and report any discrepancies.
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
· Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
· Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
· Basic computer skills for inventory management
