About the Role

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities and equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

· Repair Equipment: Diagnose and repair machinery, equipment, and building systems to ensure optimal performance.

· Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.

· Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

· Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies, and order new materials as needed.

· Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.

· Respond to Requests: Address maintenance requests promptly to minimize disruption to operations.

· Collaborate: Work with other team members and departments to ensure smooth facility operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and tape meausure.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
