About the Role
A Line Lead to oversees the production line for interior doors and windows. The Line Lead will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line workers.
· Ensure production targets are met and maintain production schedules.
· Monitor the production process and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency.
· Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
· Train new employees on production line procedures and safety protocols.
· Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
· Communicate effectively with management and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
· Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
· Implement and uphold safety regulations and quality control measures.
Requirements
· Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
· Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to enforce them.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in door and window manufacturing.
· Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
