About the Role
An Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial facilities. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, such as control panels, motors, and lighting systems.
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
· Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
· Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
· Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
· Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
· Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician.
· Proficiency in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
· Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Good physical condition and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
· Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automation systems.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
