About the Role
A Concrete Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing our concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate the activities of concrete workers on construction sites.
· Plan and schedule concrete pours, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
· Inspect work areas and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
· Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures.
· Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
· Monitor the curing process and make necessary adjustments based on weather conditions.
· Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
· Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in construction management is a plus.
· Proven experience as a Concrete Supervisor or similar role.
· Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing techniques.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
